Customers’ Challenges: 

  • A customer who purchased Thermo Scientific radiation detection equipment struggled to position these devices where intended either due to space restrictions or operational requirements and needed mounting devices and stands that could firmly hold these instruments. 

  • A rail freight company needed a solution to accurately detect oil levels in their diesel-powered locomotive, but the specific design of its gearcase required a special sensor that can be mounted securely. While we were able to find and provide a suitable oil-level sensor and a data recording device, we needed a custom 3D-printed mounting device that would hold the oil-level sensor in place.  

  • A large radiation safety customer managing the transition from the TruDose EPD Mk2 to the newer TruDose EPD model presented logistical challenges for utilising existing (and expensive) calibration irradiators due to the latter's compact design. When presented with this dilemma, ADM was able to provide a cost-effective solution through a custom-made cradle that can house both models in the existing irradiators. 

With ADM's in-house CAD and 3D-printing capabilities, we were able to produce the mounting apparatus and stands that fit precisely to these instruments. We also have a variety of printers, filaments and carbon fiber if required.
